This quote is one of the things that inspired me to start this blog. I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely one of those people that tends to get wrapped up in all the big and small things they need to do and as a result no longer see, let alone enjoy, the beautiful little things that cross their path. So, I decided I wanted to be more conscious of these little things, enjoy them and get inspired by them.

Further I’m working on my Etsy shop, also called Life Is Simply Amazing, in which I intend to sell my handmade jewelry. Writing about the shop and the jewelry I’m working on gives me the feeling that it’s slightly more than just a hobby and that I need to keep working on it. Hopefully, this will also teach me to see the beauty in the pieces I make and to stop looking for perfection. Because if you look for perfection, you’ll never be content (Tolstoy, Anna Karenina) which is so true.
